Bel Group and its Foundation stand with Ukraine
The Bel Group and its Foundation take action on several levels to support Ukrainian people affected by the conflict.
Through product donations. Since the beginning of the conflict, product donations have been organized on a local level: sites (BUs and plants) are coordinating emergency support donations to local NGOs in order to answer the adapted needs of charities, depending on the local situation and impact.
Through Bel Foundation
Besides materials donations, Bel’s Foundation decided to support SOS Villages d’Enfants to facilitate the NGO’s actions focused on protecting 500 000 vulnerable children and families throughout the next 10 years in Ukraine and neighborhood countries in Western Europe, including France.
Also, to the NGO’s request, the Foundation’s partnership with La Voix de l’Enfant will be partially focused on actions aimed at protecting Ukrainian children in Romania and France.
Through Bel employee’s engagement
Finally, Bel Group salute the remarkable commitment and involvement of its employees since the beginning of the conflict.
It has thus decided to open to them the possibility of volunteering: the Group will give days (1 to 2 days / month) to employees who wish to provide humanitarian aid within NGOs with actions related to Ukraine.
Also, local sites will continue to collecting donations: HR teams can organize donation collections depending on NGO’s needs (Medicines / medical supplies, food, clothes etc)
The Group’s constant seek for care, peace and human dignity, lie in its values. That’s why the teams will keep on monitoring the situation as well as the needs of the most vulnerable people affected by the conflict in Ukraine.
The Group will continue to stay united and provide financial and humanitarian assistance as long as the conflict lasts.
