LET ALL TALENTS SHINE

As part of our global Talents@Bel initiative, we aim to uncover and develop each individual's talents to boost the Group's impact today while preparing for the future. This approach is based on personalized development paths, transparency, and shared responsibility among employees, managers, and HR teams, ensuring the right skills are in the right place at the right time.
Development conversations, separate from annual performance reviews, allow every team member to create an individualized development plan aligned with their ambitions and the company's challenges.
Our development method is built on a practical and enriching approach:
  • 70% through practice (new projects, taking on responsibilities)
  • 20% through learning from interactions (feedback, mentoring)
  • 10% through training that fosters growth and employability
By actively engaging, each person contributes to their personal and professional fulfillment and to Bel's collective success.

TOMORROW'S TALENTS, SUPPORTED TODAY

Believing that students are the talents of tomorrow, we've partnered with schools worldwide to actively support student communities. We provide them with resources and professional opportunities, serving as real springboards to international prospects.

In France, we stand out with an extensive range of internships and apprenticeships. We're proud to be recognized for several years by the HappyTrainees® label, a testament to our commitment to offering a stimulating and enriching work environment for every student.

Belong

WE ALL BELONG PROGRAM

In 2023, the Group launched the "We All Belong" program. We commit to combating all forms of discrimination and harassment and ensuring equal opportunities for everyone. Tied to the "Bel family spirit," the Belong Charter encourages us to care for one another in an inclusive work environment where everyone can excel and thrive.

Each entity implements a DEI policy with actions aligned with the Group's ambitions and those of its territory and communities. These roadmaps are driven by an active network of over 200 DEI ambassadors.

GENDER EQUALITY

Our action plan over the past five years has enabled the Bel Group to achieve gender parity among managers. We've also reached parity within the Executive Committee since 2022.

We aim to achieve parity at all leadership levels by 2030 through our HR policies based on merit, and through training and mentorship programs tailored for women, in addition to existing leadership and management training for everyone.

Transparency guides our approach. Each year, in accordance with French legislation for companies with more than 50 employees, we publish our professional gender equality index.

Since October 2023, the Bel Group has also become a major partner of the LEAD Network, a platform for leaders in the consumer goods and retail industry, uniting efforts to address the key issue of gender parity.

A MORE INCLUSIVE WORK ENVIRONMENT FOR EVERYONE

The Group aims to establish a psychologically safe environment where all team members can be themselves, express their views, and act within an ever more respectful, caring, and inclusive workplace.

This goal is supported by:

- The Inclusive Behaviors program, encouraging everyone to speak out against uncomfortable and unacceptable situations in their work environment.
- Regular events to raise awareness, foster empathy, and ultimately, enhance the inclusion of all diversities.
- An in-depth training module on inclusive management.
- Regular measurement of our progress through precise indicators.

"Our DEI efforts are driven by 55 Leaders tasked with sparking conversations and spearheading local roadmaps. Governance is handled by the DEI Advisory Board, a committee of 18 members representing all our global functions and geographies."

BE WELL

WELL-BEING AND SAFETY: THE PILLARS OF OUR COMMITMENT

Because you are at the heart of our company's mission, we are committed to providing you with a motivating and inspiring environment. That's why we prioritize your well-being and safety above all else.

A WORK ENVIRONMENT WHERE LIFE THRIVES

We create a fulfilling professional setting where everyone finds their place by implementing measures to:

  • Respect your work-life balance: Since 2021, Bel has implemented an innovative hybrid work policy based on trust and collective intelligence.
  • Enhance individual recognition: By ensuring a common foundation of social benefits and a decent salary for all Bel employees, highlighting individual skills, and celebrating successes.
  • Listen to you via our annual "Your Voice" survey.
  • Support families: By making several Group programs accessible to employees' families.

SAFETY, HEALTH, AND WELL-BEING FIRST

Your safety is our top priority! Our goal: zero accidents and occupational illnesses. To achieve this goal, we train for proper conduct to prevent accident risks and work to reduce occupational strain, preventing professional illnesses. In 2023, we launched a major plan to improve workplace comfort by 2030. Across all sites, 1,300 workstations were audited, and preventive actions were implemented, starting with reducing heavy lifting and introducing "cobots" (collaborative robots).

Our Hybrid Work Charter redefines work organization to offer more autonomy. It establishes an optimal balance between collective performance and individual well-being, allowing you to adjust your presence based on company needs and your personal situation.

Concurrently, our Right to Disconnect Charter, applicable throughout the Group, protects rest time. By setting clear guidelines for work hours, it preserves the essential balance between personal and professional life, a key condition for your long-term fulfillment and effectiveness.

EMPLOYEE SOLIDARITY COMMITMENT

PROGRAM ACTORS FOR FOOD

In 2021, we made a bold commitment at Bel: to turn every one of us into real change-makers. With "Actors for Good," we move beyond just talking about sustainability—we take concrete action! Our program follows a simple yet powerful journey. First, "We Know" (we get informed), then "We Act" (we mobilize), and finally "We Become Activists" (we become ambassadors).

Since 2022, our solidarity week "Days for Good" has enabled all employees to engage meaningfully during work hours. It’s simple: dedicate a few hours or a day to helping local organizations involved in food access, child welfare, or environmental protection.

Success was immediate in the first year! From 25 supported organizations in 2022 across 15 countries, we grew to 2,800 volunteers in 56 sites across 28 countries, supporting 83 organizations in 2024. And the best part? 90% of participants wish to continue their engagement after this enriching experience!

CLIMATE WORKSHOP

Bel is committed to training its entire staff on climate change, notably through the Climate Workshop. These collaborative sessions, based on IPCC reports, aim to raise awareness and develop individual or collective solutions. We are one of the very first companies to obtain the new "Climate Workshop" label.

Together with all employees, we are building a world where food goes hand in hand with sustainability, where every action counts, and where each of us makes a difference!
