ACT FOR CHILDREN ALL OVER THE WORLD

Founded in 2008 by Antoine Fiévet, the Bel Foundation has been working for over 15 years to support the most vulnerable children, especially by helping them access quality daily meals. Having a meal at school every day is not yet a reality for all, even though it is a fundamental right and a crucial lever for learning, growing, and thriving.

The Foundation focuses its efforts on two main areas:

Beyond its financial support for nonprofit projects in the countries where we operate, the Foundation engages Bel Group employees to bring this commitment to life on the ground. It thus serves as a tool for sharing, solidarity, and positive impact carried by everyone and for everyone.

Fueling Minds: How School Meals Boost Nutrition and Attendance

The Bel Foundation supports the development of school canteens in the most vulnerable countries with a simple and essential goal: no child should come to school hungry.
In many parts of the world, the meal at school is often the only complete meal of the day. These canteens are not just a response to hunger, they are a powerful lever to combat malnutrition, reduce school absenteeism, and prevent dropout. By providing healthy and balanced meals, they help children learn better, stay in school, and build a more promising future.
The Foundation works alongside local organizations to implement sustainable solutions closely aligned with on-the-ground realities, restoring to every child this fundamental right: to eat well in order to grow well.

OUR ACTIONS IN FRANCE

FIGHTING FOOD INSECURITY

In France too, food insecurity affects an increasing number of children. In response to this reality, the Bel Foundation partners with associations working to improve access to quality food for young people.

Our actions support concrete and meaningful initiatives:

– Solidarity grocery stores, offering dignified access to essential products.
– ducational farm visits, reconnecting children and their families with the origins of food and raising awareness about healthier, more balanced, and more sustainable nutrition.

By combining food support and nutrition education, we work to ensure that every child, regardless of their life circumstances, can eat well and grow well.

EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT

DAYS FOR GOOD

Our Corporate Foundation builds bridges between the needs of associations and our employees' desire to get involved. Since 2022, the Bel Foundation and the Bel Group have been organizing solidarity days at each subsidiary and factory. Employees have the opportunity to dedicate anywhere from a few hours to an entire day, during their work time, to support an association, thereby making a more positive impact on society and the planet. These solidarity actions with NGOs or local associations focus on three main themes: childhood, food, and the environment.

In addition to the skills and energy brought by the Bel Group's employees, associations have the opportunity to receive funding from the Bel Foundation or the Group to support their activities.
