KIRI® reveal the power of Kindness

Thanks to its unique taste, its smooth and creamy texture, Kiri® creates a cocoon of kindness for everyone. Today, more than ever, Kiri® wants to make the world a better place and at Bel, we believe that there is a secret power that can help us, it’s a very simple one, this power is KINDNESS!

History

Prior to 1966, nobody had thought about crafting a cheese specifically for a child’s pallet and lifestyle. But that was before Kiri® burst out of Bel’s plant in France’s Sarthe region to instant success.

Indulgent & convenient, the deslicious square servings of Kiri® firstly found their way as the favorite cheese snack for French children and, soon, all around the world from a creamy breakfast in Saudi Arabia and cooking indulgent desserts for Ramadan, to a little pleasurable snack for a me-moment at the end of the day in Japan. So began the global story of Kiri.

Kiri in the world

Kiri has a wide range of products to please everyone, whether it’s for a delicious breakfast, a snack or even for cooking. That’s why Kiri is popular all over the world: The majority of sales are generated in the Middle East, Japan and France.

In Japan, Kiri’s format has been slightly modified to allow more people to continue to have access to healthy and qualitative products, and to offer a better balance between size, price and added value for the consumer.

In China, Kiri was featured in a dessert on Meituan, the country’s largest home delivery platform, with a potential 650 million consumers.

Ingredients from nature

Kiri® uses high quality milk and cream, both of local origin. The milk is collected every two days from the farms of partner farmers located within a maximum 200 km distance from the Kiri® production plant in Sablé sur Sarthe. These farmers are members of the Association des Producteurs Bel Ouest (APBO) and feed their cows with fresh grass, hay and cereals, without GMOs (<0.9%). Milk traceability is total and Kiri® controls its quality from collection to final production. The cream is also 100% French, made by Kiri® at 70% with milk from their partner farms and supplemented at 30% with other French dairy basins of similar quality. Children love the soft texture and taste of Kiri® thanks to this smooth cream.

Anecdote

Consumers everywhere like to eat Kiri® their way. In the Middle-East, no Ramadan goes without Kiri to prepare delicious puff pastries or desserts. In Asia, strawberry flavored Kiri® is popular among adults.
