Because dairy products are considered a functional and essential food group, our brands The Laughing Cow®, Babybel®, Boursin®, and Kiri® develop product ranges that align with nutritional guidelines around the world.
In addition to providing calcium, they are also recognized as sources of essential vitamins and minerals (magnesium, riboflavin, vitamins B12 and B5), high-quality proteins, and other key nutrients that support optimal health.

For several years, we’ve been pursuing an ambitious diversification strategy—particularly in the fruit sector. The acquisition of the MOM Group (Materne®, Pom’Potes®, Mont Blanc®, GoGo squeeZ®) in 2016 marked a major turning point in this evolution.

Pom’Potes® and GoGo squeeZ® are innovative brands for fruity snack pouches. Committed to “better eating,” they continuously improve their recipes for both children and adults, delivering great fruit flavors. Made from 100% natural fruits with no added sugars for the majority, some varieties are also enriched with electrolytes, providing a practical solution tailored to active lifestyles and supplying essential minerals needed after physical effort. In 2024, vegetables were introduced into the Pom'Potes range.

We’re expanding our historic portfolio with plant-based versions of our iconic brands: The Laughing Cow® Plant-Based, Mini Babybel® Plant-Based, and Boursin® Végétal. These innovations retain the original products’ taste and texture while offering a fully plant-based alternative—supported by eco-designed, recyclable packaging.

Thanks to our partnerships, we stimulate our innovation ecosystem to significantly optimize and accelerate the development of the next generation of differentiated, innovative plant-based formulations.

At Bel, we have developed unique industrial expertise in the processing and miniaturization of dairy, fruit, and plant-based products.

We control our entire production chain, ensuring the consistent quality of our iconic products such as The Laughing Cow®, Mini Babybel®, and Apéricube®. Our industrial teams continuously upgrade our sites to meet market needs through ongoing technological innovation.

Thanks to our constantly evolving sites, managed by dedicated manufacturing teams, we innovate to meet market expectations, while adhering to the most demanding standards (ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, GMP+). At the same time, we are taking concrete action for the environment by reducing water and energy consumption in our factories and recycling our waste.

With some 30 manufacturing sites in 15 countries, Bel produces as close as possible to its markets, in close collaboration with an ecosystem of local suppliers and partners. Its industrial footprint dates back several decades: in France, the Sablé-sur-Sarthe site celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2024, while the Vendôme Research, Innovation and Development center celebrated its 30th anniversary. A thousand Bel Maroc employees gathered in Tangier on May 25, 2024, to celebrate the company's 50th anniversary in the country. Finally, in Poland, the Chorzele site, which now exports to 67 countries, celebrated its 25th anniversary. Internationally, we rely on leading partners, such as Shandong Junjun Cheese in China, in which we acquired a 70% stake in 2022, and Britannia Industries in India. Our Britannia Bel Foods joint venture illustrates our local approach: a brand-new factory that produces 10,000 tons per year from 100% local resources.
