Salade niçoise et Leerdammer® Original

  • Ingredients
    • 8 potatoes
    • 2 hard-boiled eggs
    • 75 grams green beans
    • Olive oil
    • 2 fresh tuna steaks
    • 75 grams mesclun salad
    • 4 tomatoes
    • 16 black olives
    • 200 grams Leerdammer® Original cheese in cubes
    • 6 tablespoons olive oil
    • 2 tablespoons vinegar
    • Juice from half a lemon
    • 2 teaspoons mustard
    • Salt and pepper

Niçoise salad and Leerdammer® Original

Instructions :

  • Cook the potatoes (15-20 minutes) and eggs (10 minutes).
  • Trim the green beans and blanch them in boiling water for one and a half minutes.
  • Preheat a heavy bottomed skillet.
  • Drizzle olive oil on the tuna steaks and sprinkle them with salt and pepper. Grill the tuna steaks on high heat for 1 to 2 minutes per side.
  • In a salad bowl, arrange the lettuce, green beans, halved potatoes, tomatoes, quartered hard-boiled eggs, black olives, tuna cut into small pieces and the cubes of Leerdammer® Original cheese.
  • Season the composed salad by mixing the salt, pepper and vinegar, then add the mustard, olive oil and lemon.
