In brief
The first small cubes of natural soft cheese wrapped individually in aluminium foil and designed to be eaten with drinks were marketed under the name "La vache qui rit Apéritif Cocktail ® " in 1960.

The brand was renamed "Apérit-cube®" in 1971. The name "Apéricube® / Cheese & Fun® " dates back to 1976.

Being concerned with ever-increasing responsiveness to its consumers' expectations, the brand has innovated continuously: new flavoured versions have been coming out since 1970. It adopted a system of easy opening of the cubes in 1990, and new tastes and models keep entering the market.
