Packaging: protecting the environment
The protection of the environment is one the concerns of our company, and to this end we belong to the following European institutions: ECO EMBALLAGE for France, S.S.D. for Germany, ARA for Austria and POST PLUS for Belgium.
These organisations have as their objective to collect, sort and recycle different materials.
- How should I clean a stain caused by the wax round the cheese?
-
The wax wrapping of our cheeses is made with a special paraffin base for food use. The colouring is vegetable colouring. A part of the paraffin can be removed like candle wax: place the stain on a piece of absorbent paper and put a warm iron over it.
Then there are two solutions: dry cleaning or washing.
If you send the article to the dry cleaner then you should explain exactly what you have already done to get rid of the stain so that they can choose the most appropriate cleaning method.
The other solution is to wash the article on its own in a product capable of removing the paraffin remaining in the fibres and with it some of the colouring material.
You can also try a special liquid for the removal of stains of vegetable origin.
- What does the logo with the reversed arrows on the box mean?

- What do the numbers and letters in an oval on the packaging mean?
-
This is the health mark; this mark shows that the establishment in which the product was manufactured meets European hygiene standards.
For example:

· CEE: European Economic Community.
