Bel Western Europe
Western Europe, the company’s birthplace and the region in which it first expanded, represents 60% of the Group’s sales. This region’s markets possess two main characteristics: a relatively low growth rate, testifying to the maturity of these markets, and the dominant position Bel brands hold in these markets.
The Group’s strategy for this region is the “dynamic” consolidation of its market share and volume due to particularly strong pressure from the competition. 4,000 employees work at Bel Western Europe’s twelve subsidiaries and twelve plants.

Bel Eastern Europe
Eastern Europe has three commercial installations and four production sites which allow Bel products to be distributed in 16 countries.
In this region, local brands such as Shostka® in Ukraine and Zeletava® in the Czech Republic, play important role in Bel´s portfolio and represent over 30% of sales. The Group supports the development of these local brands and is also making significant investments in this region to develop its core brands, which remain a strategic priority. In Eastern Europe, there are 2000 employees contributing to Bel's development.

Bel Americas Asia-Pacific
The Americas and the Asia and Pacific regions are tremendous growth engines for Bel, with each region experiencing a remarkable growth rate in sales each year. Faced with intense competition in the North American markets, Bel has chosen to concentrate on three of its core brands—The Laughing Cow®, Mini Babybel® and Boursin ®—in order to invest massively in their promotion and advertisement.
After establishing a presence in Mexico in 2009, the Group is now examining various opportunities for expansion into South America, particularly in Brazil.
Bel is already established in four countries in the Asia and Pacific Region (Japan, Vietnam, China and Korea), and is developing its markets with various products specifically adapted to different consumption patterns.
