On May 31, 2010, 71.24% of Fromageries Bel was owned by the Unibel company and the Bel/Fiévet family group. As the Bel Group holding company, Unibel defines the long-term vision and sets the major strategic guidelines to ensure the Group's development, profitability and independence.

Shareholders
In 2009, consolidated sales and volume showed strong resilience in a particularly turbulent environment. Sales of branded cheeses, the Group’s core activity, continued to advance, but the growth was not enough to offset the contraction in industrial product sales caused by steep price declines.
